I don't want to see Gerrard in this game, he's shot.

I'd start with Momo and Javier in the middle, with Bellamy up front with Kuyt.

Anyone else that's showing signs of tiredness should also be rested. Sami could come back for this one, being an old head.

Ring the changes by all means, but sorry Dudek... no ****ing chance.

PSV need 3 for extra time/penalties if we dont score and Kuyt is suspended.

      Thats kinda my point.

Still think we will go through but just dont like the cocksure attitude that seems to surround this game, things like that have a habit of going wrong.

maybe, but we aint going out of the competition, we are the last team PSV would want to face to try and get something out of, especially at Anfield.
Id be supprised if our goals conceeded this season in the league, is far into double figures.

As I said earlier, I can see us losing the game (not that PSV are any good like) but we'll go through. It's nailed on.

It'll be like those CL qualifiers we've had in recent years where we do the job away and end up losing 1-0 at home, but still go through.
Dreams come true. Without that possibility, nature would not incite us to have them.

Oh aye. That he is. Err give God a game. Load the bench with class if we do need it.

Honestly, i can't see PSV putting in a good performance. They are true gash.

I think we'll nullify them and pretty much bore them into submission. I can maybe see them scoring from a set-piece, but I doubt much threat will come from open play.

If we're still in the driving seat come the hour mark it'd be nice to see some kids get a run out, but how likely that is, who knows.

I reckon the game will only have one or two goals in it, a professional yet uninspiring performance from the lads

For us to go out I think I'm right in saying it would take our heaviest defeat ever in European competition at Anfield. I understand totally the point RedHot is making but I don't think Rafa thinks we're through for a second.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

I think we're through, it's pretty nailed on. But we don't want to take it too easy or play 6+ fringe players as it would only take an early goal by them to make it a bit tense.

As long as we keep a steady back four - possibly start with Hyypia - then we're good. I'd like to see Fowler start too with Gonzalez & Pennant on the flanks. Wouldn't suprise me to see Mascherano rested as he's started the last 3/4 matches I think. That leaves maybe Alonso & Gerrard in the middle. We'll see I guess, can't second guess Rafa!

I dont think we will bore them into submission, far from it, not at Anfield anyway, I dont think people give Rafa the praise he deserves sometimes for the team attacking intent, they are always looking to go forward and attack. Its just that the team is so good at nulifying an opponent it can sometimes be interpreted as us being a defensive side, but there is much much more to our game than that, I would say, we are the best team in Europe at making other teams look bad, that is Rafa's way, he will try and take any strengths the opposing team has, out of the game, but at the same time the team is always willing to go forward, with out forward players given licence to try things, as you would see with Garcia when he plays. Its just that we dont have the true tricky players in the advances positions that we dont see it enough, although Penant has been a real breath of fresh air lately and atlast looks like he is playing with confidence.
IMO we will beat them at Anfield and put the tie to bed early.

But are we home and dry regardless? An early goal for them, then another around the 75-80 minute mark and we are in for a nervous ending. 3-3 into extra time and their tails will be up. Should we rest players or put out a first choice 11? Are we taking this game to lightly?

For the record I think we will go through but not sure it will be as easy as it seems everyone thinks it will be.

I've every confidence we're going through, 3 away goals is hard for any team to pull back and coming to Anfield with the usual Euro night atmosphere, can't exactly see a PSV demolition job. Presume some of the lads will get a run out, Fowler and Bellamy up front, Sami in defence maybe, Zenden starting. Either way I expect the usual professional performance we put in in Europe as we march to a semi against Valencia (I think)
