The original Liverbirds were Pauline Collins (soon replaced by Nerys Hughes, mother of Yosser, a Liverpool everyman who could turn his hand to anything, and wife of Emlyn, Liverpool FC captain) and Polly James (mother of David, Liverpool FC goalkeeper in the 1990s), the stars of a hit situation comedy by Carla Lane. Following the success of the programme, the emblems on top of the Liver Insurance building in Liverpool, two double-headed Byzantine eagles, became known as the Liver Birds in honour of the popular television characters..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
