In fact most of our team hasn't.

Players play poorly from time to time mte and he's off form at the moment but to say he doesn't care is complete rubbish.

I'm sure that he does care for the club etc, but, as I have already said, he strolled through todays game with a look on his fave that suggested that he would rather be elsewhere and looked like he was going through the motions.

The Chav players may not have had as early a start to the season, but they have stayed in all the domestic cups as well as the CL and league, so will end up playing as many if not more games.

I'm going to have to agree to disagree with you on this one Kurt. He is the club captain. If he is not fit to play, he should look for a break, especially before the next set of CL games, as captain he should be looking to be at his best whenever possible.

      absolute rubbish

todays match having watched it live on rte was complete dire and i pity any fan who paid good money to watch it. the only thing that can drawn from this game is the following

Gerrard: only plays when he considers the opposition are good enough to warrant his talent( I agree with Dunphy on this a complete spoof of a player)

Pennant: symbolic of everything that is wrong with highly paid under skilled players-doesnt care doesnt bother wouldn't trust him to win a tackle against a 62 yr old granny

Kuyt: woeful first touch can not play up front on his own

Gonzalez : how he can take his pay cheque and still have an honest conscience is a mystery a terrible terrible player

Alonso:concentrate on getting the 15 yard pass right before hitting a 60yard one.

Riise: hitting the ball very hard and scoring the odd goal does not make you a professional player absolute tripe.

Albelora: might be able to harness Messi but looks suspect against poor premiership players must be the worst passer of the ball last seen in a Liverpool shirt since Diao

Mascherano: aside from fouling every 4 minutes just passes the ball to the side this against a poor poor city side

Carragher : looked to be back to his early season form(rubbish)

The only player who looked as he cared out there was Agger the rest went through the motions. Not good enough not near good enough

Teams play poorly from time to time for one reason or another and you can't win them all.

Short memories in what way? No person on here will have forgotten the big goals in the big games that Stevie scored. He gets plenty of credit when he has a good or great game. Why should he not get some stick when he is terrible?

Very lacklustre display from the whole team today

That game would've put a ****in' glass eye to sleep

Personally I like listening to Dunphy when he is slagging off a Manc or Chav player. But I hate it when he says stuff about any of our players that I cannot disagree with. Today is one of those days.

not defending gerrard or anything but the whole team didnt play well today.
                    defended? yes did pretty well
                    attacking wise? nothing,nada zilch.
pretty sure we didnt have a shot on target in the game.
Parry is a clown. En Rafa que confiamos

This is where you miss my point. I'm not saying that he's above criticism, far from it. What I am saying though is that when people spout bollocks like, he looks like he doesn't care, he only plays when he wants etc... is complete rubbish. If you want to criticise the lads performance then fair enough but to criticise the lads charcter and hunger is complete nonsense.

What a ****ing boring match. Defensive minded football with men behind the ball against a City team who haven't scored a goal at home since January. I'd rather go and watch Manure play football than our lot to be honest. Rafa is beginning to be very predictable away from home in the league. To win the league, we must be much much much more aggressive and adopt a bit of a cavalier attitude against the lesser teams away from home.

Well I guess the way he walked around the pitch today with his hands on his hips, and barely broke sweat showed me his hunger. All a fan has to judge a player with is by what that player does on the pitch. If he had been shouting at the other players, or clapping his hands, trying to gee them up, or if he even looked anything other than listless, then I would not be so annoyed.

No player can be expected to put in lung bursting superstar performances each and every game, but I expect players to at least look like they are trying.

A boring game but who cares about the league now? Every game in the league now is just preparition to the CL games. The most important thing is not to get any injuries, that is more important than any points or if we play boring or fantastic football.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Never mind anyway lads I'm sure most of you will jump on the bandwagon again on Wednesday if we beat Middlesborough and say how great some of our players are.

                                Not fickle, eh?
