That's just banter mate. I really hope we cover our faces with egg once he's here. That would mean he's doing fine.

Awesome goal against Coventry. Baring in mind he didn't always play up front, alot of the time he was played out wide, his golascoring record was alright.Originally posted by ShaggyAlonso View PostAmen brother, Amen. I feel the same about Titi.
And what about that goal against Coventry?!
Here's a bit of Titi...

Absolutley loved Titi.
He was a legend in my eyes. That goal the day his father died will live in my memory."When a man insults my country I insult him, by taking his woman" Tony Yeboah
"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

This is a bit bad but if he breaks a leg or something, it might just be the best thing for us. (and him in the long run)Nah i'd rather you gave the pie to us and break your leg, WTF are ya thinking? Give the dude a chance, fact is he's goin to be putting on the jersey for us, so don't judge him just coz u have freaken seen him play in another league on TV, different tactics, different teams, different environment, can work one way or the other..Originally posted by Nic83 View PostEh lads, I think you're all thinking that I've not seen him before. I have, many times and he's really not LFC standard. But if he proves me wrong, i'll make my own humble pie and enjoy it.
I really don't think he will though

Well it didn't work with Cisse so I can't see how it'll work with VoroninOriginally posted by anfieldanfield View PostIt's one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read on this site.
We've signed a player and yet somehow, somehow the best thing for us (AND THE PLAYER HIMSELF!) would be for him to break his leg!
I live with Steptoe.

I've seen him play for the Ukraine a few times, and I've watched him three or four times in Leverkusen's UEFA Cup run this season.
He's been really dreadful.
If we hadn't signed him and someone asked me, based on those performances, what I thought of Voronin...I'd say "he's ****".
Naturally I'll give him a chance and I'll cheer him heartily the first time I see him play, but it's a curious signing.
Spot on

What a cracker. He's free and I don't think they would be paing him much so if he's a failure who cares. Look at Bellamy he cost 6m pounds and he's done nothing. The same goes for players like Cisse and Morientes who cost even more. He will probably be a 4th choice striker and maybe that's all Rafa bought him for but who knows he might prove everyone wrong.

I take it you've seen him play at least a dozen times in the flesh to be making that judgement then?Originally posted by mikegbelieve View Postvoronin is an absolute pathetic, pointless, embarassing transfer, i just cant believe it there is no sense to it what so ever
Rafa and the scouting department have obviously seen something in the fella that they like, personally I've seen no more of him than the odd youtube clip so really can't say for myself yet. The reaction of some so-called lfc fans to his signing has been nothing short of pathetic imo, and if its a sign of what's to come the first time he has a bad game I feel very sorry for him. He probably thinks he's signing for a club with some of the best and most knowledgable fans in the game too.....
I could not dig, I dared not rob:
Therefore I lied to please the mob.
Now all my lies are proved untrue
And I must face the men I slew.
What tale shall serve me here among
Mine angry and defrauded young?

From Wiki:
"Interestingly, in 2005 Camara featured on a series of T-Shirts issued by an Irish clothing company. His cult statue meant that the limited edition t shirts became collectors items overnight, and are now thought to trade for several thousand Euro a piece."
Has anyone got one of these t-shirts?

You misspelt "status" when you edited it on Friday.
.
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.
