This is a true farce.

Essien has had a marvellous season and should be in, either at the expense of Fabregas or Rooney. Rooney has scored 19 goals in all comps (same as Crouch, and less when you include international goals) but ask any match-going United fan and they'll tell you he's really struggled for the most part.
