I think this is voted in like November you know, and the players always vote for whoever the media is hyping at the time so Drogba or Ronaldo will win it.
Ronaldo should win it as he probably the most dangerous player in the world right now, he'll deffo win the writers player of the year.

I would argue that Lampard has had a better season than Stevie, Essien certainly has. Terry not being in is a surprise too him being the media darling and the effect on Chelsea when he was injured?
