Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill is determined to land Liverpool striker Craig Bellamy.

The Daily Mail says Bellamy tops O'Neill's shopping list for the summer market, despite the Welshman being less than 12 months into his Liverpool career.

Villa are banking on Liverpool moving for a big-name striker in the summer to force the issue with Bellamy, who is unlikely to be keen to play second fiddle at Anfield.

Quite likely to happen I think. Bellamy hasnt quite done it at LFC.

I can see alot of teams coming in for him. I wouldnt seel him still has alot ot offer, we have no one with the pace of him up front. Its a great weapon to have.

if they bought baros for 6million plus? they can have bellamy for 10 million. He'd do well there, would command a starting place for most occassions unlike at anfield. Not really sure why rafa bought him as players like bellamy need to be played consistantly to hit form. Rotation for many players is more a problem that prevents sharpness than the risk of being over tired.
