FT 2-0 3pts Pretty much confirms CL football. Not the greatest performance but much better 2nd half which coincided with Momo going off. MOM for me was Pennant. SG may have scored 2 but Pennant was behind most of our best play all night. If he carries on like this we'll be happy.

Let's face it we only had one player out there tonight whose individual brilliance was likely to create something from nothing. He came good for us tonight, but we can't rely on it. Two holding mids can work in the Prem although I agree with Phil insomuchas we needn't have played Momo tonight.

We need every creative player we have on the pitch at the moment when we're not short of possession but are struggling to pick our way through teams, and Momo is definitely not that. Hope to ****ing God we get some genuine attacking quality into the side this summer because sometimes our lack of it tells so ****ing badly.
