        This summer transfers to LFC will be the most interesting one for a long time.

          Apart from Neil, does no one else think it is pretty meaningless that he has YNWA inscribed on the inside of his armband? I fail to grasp the significance of this at all. He might just like the song or admire the sentiment, there's nothing in that to link Torres to us apart form the fact we know that Liverpool is very popular amongst the Spanish.

            If anything, I'd say the reason for it is the sentiment rather than the ties to LFC

            Either way though, nice

            For the record, I'd love to see Torres playing for us next season

              In would sign Aguero before Torres. Cheaper and better.
              Just believe and you never know what will happen.

              According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

                wasnt there a quote from him saying that he was in istanbul and it was one of the most moving football experiences of his life.

                hes not going to win things at athletico. hes ambitious. so i dont think he will stay there.

                i also dont think he will go to another spanish team so who knows.

                    Having seen him, i don't think he's that consistent. He's hardly the most exciting talent and certainly not worth 27m upfront, but his goal scoring stats are OK...

                    40 apps for Spain - 14 goals
                    159 apps for Atlético Madrid - 68 goals

                    That said i think the story is a pile of pish!

                        but Aguero is much shorter than torres, and if Torres was to br brought in, I am assuming height would be part of the reason. Square pegs and round holes. I guess it would depend on who is leaving, regarding who we will sign.

                            Morienties (remember him) is first choice along side Villa.

                              I'm not sure how I feel about Torres. He is young and very talented but sometimes he looks great and other times I'm not convinced.

                                Torres isn't that good in the air. It will probably as you say depend on who is leaving.
                                Just believe and you never know what will happen.
