    Liverpool ties strong for Atletico star Torres

    Liverpool chances of landing Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres have moved up a notch after revelations over the weekend.

    The *** says Torres - a summer transfer target for Anfield boss Rafa Benitez - has the Kop's famous 'You'll never walk alone' slogan on the inside of his skipper's armband.

    The 22-year-old's secret was revealed by accident when the armband came loose during Atletico's 2-0 defeat at Real Sociedad on Saturday.

    And it has fuelled talk that Torres has his heart set on a move to Anfield at the end of the season.

    But Atletico insist Torres will not be sold for a penny less than the £27 million transfer clause in his contract.

    I posted this on 6CM however no-one seems interested by it, what do you think?

    I reckon it is a bit strange however it could also be a good sign:

    On Sky Sport News this morning there was a brief report that Torres was wearing a captains armband with 'You'll never walk alone' stitched into the inside.

    Could this be an indication he is on his way or has one of our spanish players given it to him as a gift?

    I know Reina is friendly with Villa but I'm not sure I have heard of anyone being linked with Torres as good friends?

    Anyone?

            If true, which is certainly questionable, it's meaningless.

            Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
