Our record against the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea under Rafa has been poor at best, if we want to stand any chance of winning the League next season this has to improveOriginally posted by TheStig View PostSpot on.
Against the other top 4 sides away from home under Rafa, our record reads: Played 12 Won 0We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

I think it's apparent that by far the biggest downside to our game is our attacking play,or lack of it at the sharp end of the scale,i.e. we can look great against the mediocre sides but against classy opponents it looks very hard work & we can't hide from the fact that we are so,so cautious regards men getting forward,we are constantly out-numbered in the box time & time again,as much as our squad & first team is improving,it appears to me in one off ties we are a match for anyone, hence the "great cup side" tag but games like tonight make me think that Rafa's work is far from done,i'm starting to think we maybe need 5 or 6 players to get there & stay there consistantly.
We are great on our day but poor the next,it's annoying to say the least.
This is fuelled by tonights result but i've been thinking this way for a while, our final third(especially!) our consistant possession of the ball & the mindset to win every game are our weaknesses.
That's it

I doubt we will see Bellamy with us for much longer (or next season anyway), how many times was instructions seen to be given to him, only to be ignominiously dragged off 6 mins into the second half, how humiliating is that, and doesn't bode well for him to be giving his best the next time he is picked either, why bother would be his thoughts.

Crouch starts
Gerrard in the middle
Pennant starts
Speedy starts(or even Kewell)Or Zenden who had a great game tonight.
Thats all it needs i think. Wonder why it didn't happen today.

If that's how he reacts then good riddance to him. Zenden might be past his best and not the creative spark we need at LM, but the guy gave it everything tonight. I wanted to see the aggression and attitude from Bellamy that is supposed to be the hallmark of his game, but once again it was nowhere to be seen.Originally posted by lfc4ever View PostI doubt we will see Bellamy with us for much longer (or next season anyway), how many times was instructions seen to be given to him, only to be ignominiously dragged off 6 mins into the second half, how humiliating is that, and doesn't bode well for him to be giving his best the next time he is picked either, why bother would be his thoughts.

Positivity on this site is NOT a sin.Originally posted by Gaz View PostFFS there's another 90 mins to play yet, have a bit of belief. We've seen this result before and don't forget we beat them 2-0 at Anfield already this season.
We're a completely different team at Home than we are when we play away

I thought he was utterly out of his depth in a CL Semi, ffs, man up and step up to the plate, but alas nope.Originally posted by le2red View PostIf that's how he reacts then good riddance to him.
