Stevie has to play in the middle, for a start. And Crouch has to be upfront...dare I say we should go 3-5-2 and use Sami at the back to nullify Dogbreath in the air?!

His game is based on having someone right up against him, then using his strength and pace to get past them. I'd rather see the defender give him space to get the ball at his feet and then hit him, hard.

I've got my victory routine almost choreographed already. I know exactly what I'm going to do with my arms, my head, my hips and my right leg, which is the 1st one I put forward when I'm bopping.

Without another striker up there all the time the way they play at least one of Agger/Carra would be free to cover on the ground.

been on a plane, only just watched the game. gutted but also think we were lucky. I'd love a straightforward 442 in the first half and 352 if we can't seem to break them down. Gerrard needs to play in the middle, Pennant (can't believe i'm saying this) on the right. Start with Crouch, couldn't care less if bellamy or kyut partnered him as both are crap. Left wing is a problem, if kewell is fit i'd throw him in. Zenden played well but is limited and speedy isn't of a high enough standard.
We need 3 goals in my opinion. Not sure you can score 3 past arguably the best goalkeeper i've seen in recent times. One thing for sure we need to ATTACK!

And all the charade about Drogba prior to the match now makes sense, he had Agger in his back pocket without breaking sweat, Momo should have been brought on and utilised to nullify the threat as soon as it was obvious what the tactic was.
