Luxury player but then again, when it gets to the cream of europe, it's normally the best players that make the difference (ref: Kaka and Rooney from the Old Toilet match).

I think it 75-25 for the Chavs but maybe Stevie G will showcase his talents one more time!
Gerrard has never played well against Chelsea.

He's got far too much respect for them.

I think we'll be relying on other players to do the job for us on Tuesday night.

Garcia - The Big Game Player

Garcia, the single most infuriating player I have ever come across, yet I still love to see his name on the team sheet, especially for the big games.

He'll give the ball away with 10 yard passes, 30 times a match, whether it be against lowly Watford in the league or against Milan in the CL. BUT, he is always capable of creating that moment of magic out of nothing - a spectular goal from 30 yards out, to a looping header from just inside the box and he'll also do it against absolutely anyone.

He has NO self doubt on the pitch; he believes he is a top player, he believes he should be playing in the biggest matches AND winning them, and most importantly, he has no worries about putting the ball in the back of the net against anyone, as opposed to some players, who you sometimes feel have such a lack of belief that they feel it would be just plain wrong to score.

I always feel this when we go away to the big teams in the prem. Maybe I'm paranoid but I really do get the impression that some players feel that they just aren't allowed to score at The Bridge, OT or Arsenal (when was the last time we scored at one of these grounds?) as we have no right to, which is utterly ridicolous. I think we are well capable of going away to these places, taking the game to them and even giving them a bit of a hiding in their own back yard, if they just believe in themselves a little more.

We really missed him yesterday. He is scared of noone and this attitude rubs off on the rest of our players when he is around. (Bayern Leverkusen away springs to mind) and is most definitely a player I want in our side against the big teams.
