However he did play at CB, going forward I have some reservations.
true that, he was one of the best players in the WC for yous..but i still hope we don't sign him

Not sure Kromkamp wants to go anywhere:

New signing Dirk Kuyt has revealed that he spoke to Liverpool defender Jan Kromkamp during the summer to enquire about life at Anfield.

The Dutch duo had a good natter about the club while the World Cup finals were taking place and although Kromkamp's future is unclear, he didn't have a bad word to say about us.

Kuyt said: "I spoke with Jan about the club. He said what I was already thinking.

"He said it was a fantastic club with fantastic people - fantastic people who are working for Liverpool with a beautiful crowd and beautiful supporters."

Yer see - JK thinks we're beautiful

I actually hope KK stays. What I have seen of him I like he is an efficient RB and excellent cover for Finnan.
        Rafa please get me.....

Now Kuyt is in the bag, we must win the league.

          Playtime is over!

I have an odd feeling that Kromkamp will leave.
Who we get in, if this happens is beyond em, but there is no way Rafa would allow JK to leave without having cover in place.

If JK does indeed stay, i reckon there could be some activity come Jan, depending on CL.

We currently have the strongest squad that we've had for a good number of years, and have at least two quality players to cover every area of the pitch.

Somehow I cannot see Rafa allowing a key squad player to leave without adequate cover coming in.

I think if he leaves it's more to do with him not being settled, because I think he's a pretty decent right back.

Finnan I think is great, but he's not getting any younger, that's why I can't understand bring in someone like Neil as cover, because he's definitely not a long term replacement.

              Alves would be ideal

Don't think we can afford ALVES after spending 10£ m on Kuyt.

I think Kromkamp will stay until next summer and then be replaced by Alves.

OK, OK, half a pint of lager and a bag of crisps then.
