According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

The signing of Eto for next season would be the statement of intent from Rafa and the club.
It'd have a decidedly bigger impact than the signing of Darren Bent.

He would change our team, imagine him and Crouch...what a handful for defenders that would be.

Even if we sign Eto'o, it doesn't mean he will be a success in England. Everyone was creaming about Morientes when he signed for us.
Rafa will buy players he wants and who he feels will fit into this system and his character etc ... Don't bet on any superstar signing for next season. Look for up and coming young players to complement what we've got.Comment

I would agree with that. The new owners will want to maximise visibility of the club to help revenue. I don't believe that we will sign Eto'o but what do I know.
He will cost £40m+ and it could easily be £50m+ because a lot of the big clubs have a lot of money to spend this summer.
Huntelaar, Tevez or Bent would be my guess.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
