Serious question fellas. Were either of you at the Chelsea match two years ago? I've been to some massive matches home and away, in England and abroad but I've never experienced anything like the atmosphere of that match in 2005. I just hope it's the same tomorrow night because the Chelsea players might know what's coming but they won't be able to do anything about it...

Has Rafa been taking lessons from someone down the road? He's really turning up the heat for this game.

Very unlike him to talk so much and real deep knife turning stuff.

I hope the team can be as combative on the pitch as Rafa is being off it.

We know the Anfield crowd will do their bit.

If you watch the press conference Rafa was doing his best not to get involved in any Maureen slagging or to slag off Chelsea (at least not too much), this despite every single question from the hacks being extremely leading and more or less imploring Rafa to slate Maureen and get into another war of words. I thought he handled himself in an exemplary way and didnt stoop to Maureens level.

3-1 tomorrow, but after we go 3-0 up.

He did something similar against them in the League just before they beat us 4-1 but this time I think it's a lot different there is no cockiness about this there is real determination in what he is saying and from what I've heard from a couple of players.
There are quite a few Chelski players who weren't there 2 seasons ago and didn't experience the atmosphere plus the ones that did will be dreading it.

Sorry mate that's BS, win lose or draw tomorrow the Anfield factor will still make us winners, the team will get a standing ovation and be sung off the pitch regardless.
That's just to remind the rest of Europe/World who we are and how special we are.
The Anfield factor should not be dismissed but encouraged the way it has been this week.

If we don't score early and play like last weeks first half you'll be able to hear a pin drop in Anfield as often happens when we are playing ****.The atmosphere 2 years ago was helped hugely by scoring as early as we did

I hope everyone turns up as early as possible so its ready for kick off. Not have everyone roll up half pissed at kick off.

I agree i was there and have felt nothing like it, if it is recreated it will affect both sets of players, nobody seems to remember that we didnt exactly play well that night either, except Carra the mighty. I for one am bricking it already but i am right behind the anny road goal just like Juve and Chelsea last time. Cant wait.

I'm just jealous of anyone who's going. It's not going to be easy, so for all those who run out of shout - please feel free to use mine and sing it loud and long - you have a duty. Don't let the swine off with anything - let them know every time they **** up.

I live in London - next door neighbour is a typical smug chavski **** - and I have a few friends who 'support' Chelsea, and m'boy has to play footy with their chavski clad offspring, but he's proud of his red shirt and sticks up for it.

There are sooo many reasons I want us to hammer that lot.
