    The semi-final build-up thread

Chelsea looked mentally shattered at the end of that game. Carvalho came off injured,, and they had to push right to the last looking for a winner.

Time to grab them by the balls...and twist.

I thought the exact same myself. They'll be shattered on Tuesday.

They had all their palyers out today and the game's just over 72 hrs away. We've got 2 of our likely starting 11 playing today, that's all. We should be nice and fresh.

All things considered we've got a great chance.

We were a mess in the first leg and could have lost 3-0, It will be a different game at Anfield.

If we keep a clean sheet I think we'll progress, I cant see us NOT scoring.

You hope that will be the case. Maybe Chelsea realise the title race is all but over so they will be giving it their all on Tuesday.

That clean sheet is so, so key. And we've not conceded against them at home this year, and only 5 in the league at home all season. We are capable of doing it, we've just to stand up and be counted - every man Jack.

No negative waves. It's gonna be a good day.

We still have to be cautious. Football is never as simple as that. But yes, we may approach this match in the most positive fashion we could and the crowd must roar us to victory. Lads, if you've got a chance (some of you) go and roar us into this final. We have to believe and keep fighting till the end.

They looked shattered both emotionally and physically at full time but you're right I'm more hopeful than expectant that they'll be shattered on Tuesday.

5Live just reported Carvalho has confirmed he is out of Tues as he left on crutches.

GET IN!!!!!!!!!! That's Essien at CB for them then. Remember last time he played there for them at Anfield?!

Will force Essien to play in back four
