    I know, I know!

I just had to apologise to him so that I have a clear conscience

He did the "Šmicer" yesterday and that was

He had a fine game last night.

It's not many times you could say that about him though.

He did a good job. he was solid, but did not add an attacking threat really. Did he succesfully cross the ball even once?
      Oh I don't know.

Once again, credit where it's due.

He worked his bollocks off last night and played pretty well too. I was convinced he'd miss his pen but he stuck it away convincingly.

          I agree - credit where it's due.

When we look at Zenden when he was at his best for Barca he still has some way to go. The improvement is obvious though and he will be a key player in Athens. Maybe Kewell will do a cameo but Zenden will be the LM in the starting XI.

Zenden looks 10 kilos lighter and has covered more distance in the last 10 matches than he did the entire last season.

He still hits some woeful crosses but he has shown the grit and determination that defines our best players. He is not just a squadplayer these days. He is ready to step up and become a part of the 'team of Carragher' that will help us win number 6 in Athens.

          Well in there Bolo!

Yes, he showed real calmness from teh penalty and seemed to get really stuck in from the beginning. Particularly enjoyed the challenge on that diving **** face Joe Cole.

Cannot see Zenden at Anfield next season but he can leave as a hero in Athens! Hopefully.

He isn't LFC quality - and should be moved on in the summer, however, I thought he was excellent last night.

Yes, he can't beat a man, and his first touch often lets him down, but for sheer attitude, work ethic, and stamina he has to be applauded, and let's not forget the vital contribution in the Penalties, his excellent first penalty set the standard for the others. Priceless.

IF we go to win #6 his contribution shouldn't be over looked, and what price on a penalty shoot out and Bolo stepping forward to take the first again?

                    Mister Zenden, I salute you!

                          Pepe's semi

of the long list of heroes, for me this was reina's semi

not just for winning us the shootout, but for all his saves at the bridge when the chips were down

This guy is what sums up to be a Liverpool player. The guy is just immense a modern day Liverpool legend that gives his all every match.

He's schooled in the Liverpool History and if your a new player and dont know what Liverpool is about you soon find out when your on the pitch with him. I can ALWAYS hear him shouting on tv at the matches excellent leader even though he doesnt have the arm band. What an impoved player since Rafa has come to the club. Like a brick wall in that defence.

Carra was in bits like he was in the final in 2005, but no way could you have got him off that pitch. He gives everything and deserves every sucess he gets.

We where talking about him last night after the game and saying we wouldn't swap him for anyone - Anyone. My mate then said would you swap him for Ronaldo Hmmmmm. Nah

Had a neutral fan (Boro!) going on about how it wasn't a great match to watch, bad advert for the english game blah blah blah.

No-one forced them to watch it, if they dont like it, they can shove it!
