boo fcuking hoo, he's only on 35k a week.

i bet thats more than 75% of this forum earn in a year.

he's a young defender, still largely untested. One week ago, he got dicked by Drogba, this week, he was decent.

lets not go over board here people

after you graduate from university, you are known as a graduate

i would class entry level jobs as people who left school and went straight into employment

mmm ... thought it was based on work experience, meaning (entry level jobs), being people (graduate ... or not) starting their working life.

Basically, a graduate (fresh from Uni) is only qualified 'on paper'.

I dont have to pay any student loan back untill I earn 75% of the national average wage which at the last defferment was something like £2050 per month.

                      so 2050*12 = 24600 = 75%
                      so 24600 * 1.33 = £32718

This only goes to show how the wealth divide effects averages! The median wage is probably around £24k per year I would guess. A lot of people earn less than £15k per year!
                      =======================================

A graduate usually missses a few of the lower rungs of a career ladder. That's why we do it for 3-4 years. Your average school leaver taking up a trade apprenticeship type position would be lucky to make £200 per week.

What's the minimum wage these days?

                        its an annual wage rise

so when he signs he's on £35,000
                        next year £40,000
                        year after £45,000

and so on and so on

Ok which one of you is Peter Ridsdale?

£35000/week Rising by £5000/ week every year is a lot of money.

Let's first see what Agger thinks about it, before we offer him more

Average UK wage is £23,000 as reported on 5 live money next week.

Yeah, I have a really boring drive to work.

As for Agger, I really don't think he is in it for the mega money having read some of his interviews since joining us. The guy is some talent though and I think he'll stay as long as he enjoys it here

Average wage means nothing practically. I bet that 65% of the uk are on £16k ish or under
