    Guillem On Eto

Taken from sly spunks. Answering a fans concerns over summer departures.

GUILLEM SAYS: I don't think that Barca will want to let Ronaldinho and Eto'o go at the same time. There have been initial moves for Eto'o to leave and my personal wish would be for him to go to Liverpool, and I hope he does because he would be the striker that Liverpool needs. And if the new owners at Anfield analyse the market they should realise that Eto'o is the number one target. Deco's agent has been in touch with other clubs although he insists he doesn't want to leave but we will have to wait and see. If Deco leaves Barca may go for Lampard and if Eto'o goes they may move for Forlan. Maybe not an obvious choice but what's important is that they continue to have a creative midfield to score more goals. Maybe Lampard could give them that because the whole team have to contribute goals not just the strikers. I feel as though this is an end of era at the Nou Camp and it is time for them to start a new one but recuperating Ronaldinho will be essential to their future. Some of the youngsters they have in the side like Dos Santos and Iniesta and Messi can help keep them at the top for a long time, but they need to handle their current situation with intelligence.

I imagine Rafa feels the same.

I feel a little bit dizzy at the thought of Eto'o being our striker, I need to go & lie down now.

I would love Eto at the club but I am not sure he has fully recovered from his injury. Anyone else think Eto's lost some of his electric pace?

hardly a tap in, he beat the offside trap and passed the ball into the corner.

alright alright calm down lads. It wasn't exactly the hardest of finishes. I thought Ronnie made it pretty simple for him?

he made about 5 yards on the defenders even after he was past them, his pace is still there that was evident, he still needed to score it.

I wouldn't have believed it last year. But with H&G I think anything is possible. Apparently Foster Hicks is now involved in transfer negotiations and a new aggressive approach will be used during negotiations. The yanks are ambitious and this will be their first transfer window so anything is possible.
                        Dare we believe

Was that a hint from Balague there? Talking about Puerta of Sevilla:

'He's a Premiership type player, and a lot of clubs in Europe are looking for good left backs, especially one in the North West of England'

                            ?????????????
