It's not our opinion, or our valuation, that matters though, and obviously anything is open for negotiation - which can go up & down of course.

I rather think of the type & quality of player that would be ready to slot into what we are trying to achieve, and I think Tevez ticks all the boxes, if he comes or not is not up to me, or my valuation of him, and if the club think the same, then the amount of any transfer fee is irrelevant.

What can be interpreted though is there will be revolving doors this summer, and what we plan to spend can be offset somewhat by those leaving, thereby wheeling & dealing will be the order of the day, all I can say is - BRING IT ON!!

True but Tevez not playing is no use to Joorbachian. He has to get a club to pay his wages. I think the price is negotiable and he is probably available for 15 million. Having said that, I wouldn't want Rafa to pay that.

I can see many Italian and Spanish clubs jumping to get Tevez for 20 million

I said before that I believe Rafa will get £70m+ to spend in the summer if he needs that. Add then the money he will get from the players he will sell and it will look very good.

Hicks and Gillett are winners and they are not afraid to spend to reach their goals.

I don't think Rafa will get that much money every summer but the next transfer window will be very important if we want to catch Man U and Chelsea.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

**** that don't let him play in it, it;s about time they rescheduled that tournament so it doesn't conflict with the club seasons, unless they're prepared to pay wages why should clubs release players during the season
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

The reason why it is played in Jan/Feb is that they cannot compete at the same time as the Euro Championships, World Cup & the South American cup, which all take place in the summer months. They will not get the TV deals

If GG and TH's promises re: putting money into the club to improve the squad then they AFII £70m may not be too far off. Assuming that we get £6m for Cisse, and £6m for Bellamy, and adding that to the £2.5m for Pongo, plus approx extra £20m for getting to the CL final then there is £35m without any further cash injection. Surely they will add to that?

Not Euorpean footballs problem.Every team in Europe should withold their African players until it`s rescheduled.Lot`s of teams have developed African players(Which improves National teams),pay them millions and then loose them for 6 weeks to this Cup.Makes no sense.

Chelsea still won the league without them last year.

Chelsea are the exception.Chelsea spent so much on their replacements and had two good players for every position, not many teams can afford to lose their African players in Jan/Feb.

We have cover for Momo in CM, and if we sign Eto'o, we'll have to make do without him. I can't see Rafa going for two world class Centre Forwards in the summer.
