I dont think the TV rights element is an issue as far as the South America component is concerned. Most of Europe watched the ACN, who watched the South American tournaments!

All we can do with Voronin is wait and see really, I suppose at least he doesn't have the pressure of everybody expecting him to be a world beater...... if he can do as good a job in a few games next season as say, Arbeloa (who nobody had heard of either) did against Barca, I'd be happy.

I couldn't agree more. I thought it was widely believed that Voronin is coming in as an alternative/back-up to Garcia who has no direct competition at the club currently and whose creativity, for all the faults that come with it, has been missed in recent weeks against packed defences.

Its basically tell us who you want & we'll try to get them for you. The new owners aren't budget specific but he DOES in thoery have a budget of upto around £100mill....i think that includes wages though.

Whoever we get in - we simply have to make sure that we hit the ground running from the first game next season. The poor starts over the last couple of years have virtually killed off our chances of winning the league by the end of September.
