I am sure Torres would do what Rafa tells him.Originally posted by AFII View PostI don't agree with that.
Rafa likes hard working strikers, Villa is a hard working striker, Torres isn't that.
Eto'o, Tevez, Villa, Torres in that order IMO.

Hopefully Eto, as I fear Torres may collapse under the fan expectations, plus everyone would expect 20+goals next season for himOriginally posted by Maestro View PostIt's Eto'o or Torres - don't think Villa is very likely. We need better attacking players!

I can't believe how many strikers we've been linked to and silly season hasn't even officially started.
I don't mind who we sign out of E'Too, Villa, Torres or Tevez but please not Bent.
I also hope that whoever it is that we do sign, we do so quickly as it may help with other signings and I can't handle the pressure of the silly season and being linked with a dozen players a day.Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Rafa will be trying to wrap up all of his signings as soon as the season ends - whether he manages it or not is another story ... we'll see what, if anything Foster brings to our football club then...Originally posted by SB View PostI can't believe how many strikers we've been linked to and silly season hasn't even officially started.

And that makes perfect sense but in the past we've had to scrap in the market place to try to do deals and save a few quid here and there were as MU and the chavs have had there main targets sewn up nice and early and back in time for a good pre season and therefore they hit the ground running when the season kicks off. (please excuse the lack of grammar)Originally posted by blacky View PostI think Rafa is working on his targets now with a view to signing as soon as season is over. I think he will want his full squad back together for pre season

Apparently we are to be more ruthless when going for players!!

Tonights Revista de la Liga will be interesting:
..Atletico Madrid's main man Fernando Torres talks to Revista about his future, ahead of another summer of speculation surrounding his future - with several Premiership clubs ready to swoop for the star striker...

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

But with H&G I think anything is possible. Apparently Foster Hicks is now involved in transfer negotiations and a new aggressive approach will be used during negotiations. The yanks are ambitious and this will be their first transfer window so anything is possible. In Rafa I Trust
