I definitely hope the rumours are false after that.I'm playing all the right notes. Not necessarily in the right order. I'll give you that, sunshine.

The Italian Press quoted him as saying that - it doesn't mean he said it.Originally posted by AFII View PostHe is one of the three Italian based players that Rafa talked about three or four months ago. Trezeguet and Bojinov are the other two.
The most likely Italian based target for us is Iaquinta.Just when I discovered the meaning of life, they changed it

Yep, I've seen him at the start of this season at Palermo. Not really at Cheivo though. What I saw of him at Chievo he was pretty average, but to be honest there's not that much great going on at Chievo at the time he was there. Apart from Semioli, Santana(being there for one year), Corini and one or two other players they've been pretty average all around. At Palermo at the start of the season he was fantastic. I don't know if you guys have seen of Palermo but they play very attacking, attractive football. They like to get a lot of players forward even though they play a 4-2-3-1 sort of formation. Anyway, with di Michele a really really good supporting striker playing off of Amauri they managed to do much damage before Amauri picked up that injury. I think he could do a good job here and score quite a lot of goals. I don't think 20 a season though but I'd say 15-18 would be on the cards. I'd love to grab him and see Tevez play behind him. I think that'd be a deadly attack. He has a lot of strength, skill and composure. It'd be a risk to sign him but I'd like him here. The only player i'd definitely prefer to him is Huntelaar.Originally posted by Joe Le Toff View PostAnyone seen the lad play?
I know zilch about him
God, I hope not. Also the other name from there that we were linked with a while ago was Caracciolo.(god hope it never happens he's ****) I don't think that is the case though. I reckon if he's looking at anyone else in Italy it'd be Iaquinta or possibly Bazzani/Pazzini. But I'd so all of those would be unrealistic.Originally posted by AFII View PostHe is one of the three Italian based players that Rafa talked about three or four months ago. Off topic but if we couldn't get Tevez what would you guys think of getting Adrain Mutu here? Even with everything that happened in the past I reckon he'd be a pretty good signing. He is class, at Fiorentina this season him and Toni have been quite something. Despite being more of a second striker Mutu has scored 15 goals.(roughly) I don't think it'd be a bad peice of business at all.
