I know of 0 from 5 people entered. Agreed it's a joke and I have my trip booked so I too will be ripped off by touts

Not sure about the whole anti-Parry slant but yeah perhaps 0it's time we moved on without him. This summer is huge. We need to captilise from a marketing perspective so much more than we did after Istanbul.

okay, its a shambles. Totally agreed by all parties. For me the main culprit is U.E.F.A, bunch of mother****ers if there ever was, then Liverpool by not clarifying the situation and being totally transparent. For what its worth I have a feeling that G & T will be pushing Parry out the door within 2 years....time to adapt, continuity, good? for the fans..then BANG....their own man in, someone who knows how to run a sucessful business. Thats what I really think and thats what usually happens when huge corporations change hands. Mark my words.

Not being funny here but it seems a lot of this RP hate i've read about in general is ****ing ridiculous

now i'm probably not going to make myself very popular here but why the **** should season ticket holders get everything, they get a season ticket which some fans would kill for as it is, and they get auto cup entry, just because they're lucky enough to be a holder doesn't make them the cream of the crop of LFC fans

So far i've heard of fans not recording the away CL fixtures on the fan card (we'll who's ****ing fault is that then, did no one learn from 2005 or read the information before the season started), fans saying that allocation should be based first on season tickets, why when plenty of fans who don't have a season ticket have probably gone to great lengths to get to many of our home and away games (more so than season ticket holders) and fans lambasting Parry and talking about cancelling any tribute to Moores to do some sort of protest. It's ****ing ridiculous, the rules where there for all to see at the start of the season and how allocation would work, so they had ample time to prepare for it.

It's not Parrys fault that Uefa only gave us 17k worth of tickets, 4k of which went to maybe the most deserving leaving less than 13k for the ballot, sure the distribution could maybe be worked on, but the number of fans who qulified for tickets on the same basis as 2005 was unpredictable so it would be very difficult and very unjust, just to award season ticket holders the chance to go to the final just because they've had a season ticket for 20 years.

I could never go to a weekend match in the past myself personally because of work commitments but tried to go to all the midweek matches I could in the 04/05 season and I don't see why that should mean I was any less entitled to go to the match than a season ticket holder, I qualified for a final ticket in Istanbull that year as it happened but didn't have the funds to be getting there so it never happened, and I hope my ticket went to a fan just as deserving as I was with or without a season ticket.

things should of been done well in advance of beating chelsea. my gut feeling is that **** parry never thought we would pull it off. uefa also have to bear some responsibility, and for that **** gillard to suggest we were lucky to get 17.000 tickets is a joke. not so lucky when we are filling stadiums and getting uefa better ratings on the telly are we? kin fat ****.

Rick Parry was at Chester races today.

Glad to see he's working overtime...

It's the lies and deceit that have got peoples backs up.

We - that is you and I - are the lifeblood of this team of ours and we've been done up like a ****ing kipper and then the club has insulted our intelligence when we don't swallow the ****e they've been spewing.

Its gone beyond the ST / Fan card debate. Its now who the **** got them, cos nearly everyone knows loads who didnt and very few who did. People phoned in on radio Merseyside and the Legends and they all have the same story. That about 1 in 20 or 1 in 30 got tickets.

I dont mind that i didnt get one but i thought at least a few of my mates would have got one. That way we would have all chipped in to get tickets for who ever didnt. But now we all need to get them off touts.

Its well ****in dodgy if you ask me.

Morph I think you miss Usher's point. Usher's MAIN point is that, from what can be ascertained by asking round and surveys etc, there is no way anywhere close to 13,000 tickets went into that ballot.

More like 4 to 5k. So what happened to the rest?

Everybody who is defending Parry needs to bear this in mind.

He went to great lengths to make the point that Fancard Holders and Season Ticket holders would be treated EXACTLY the same.

Yet, EVERY corporate season ticket holder with 6 or more credits has been guaranteed a ticket.

So, tell me, how can Parry defend that one? He can't. Yes, the paltry UEFA allocation is in itself a disgrace but when Parry makes promises without sticking to them then he is to blame also. The fans have been shafted by Liverpool Football Club and no deflecting the blame away from Parry will change that.

i dont think people would be as pissed off if they knew of more fans who got tickets but the fact remains you speak to anyone who was in the ballot and in nearly every case they didnt get one

I agree in principle, but thats not the argument, there is no way 13000 tickets went into the ballot, so where did they go? Thats what people want to know, are the club gonna refund my 470 quid for a flight i booked as i had been to every single home game this season (not just champions league) without a season ticket? I know someone who has only been to the 6 CL games and no other match but he has a ticket and i dont. Loyalty should be rewarded to all and there are better ways of doing it, hiding the number of tickets and qualifying people just makes the situation worse.
