i'll bear that in mind. but know that it likely means i'll have your cup final ticket when i use the money i saved to buy your ticket from one of the corporate pricks the club gave it to.Originally posted by Morphorino View PostIf you do say screw in the future about the season ticket mate i'll take it off your hands

personally mate i feel too angry to even think about the final. and i can't really help that that's how i feel. the club needs to address the thousands of others who feel as i do.Originally posted by Morphorino View PostI thought that after i'd posted, i don't think now is the time i think after the final is the time

Now ya see that's where i'm going to have to disagree, i'd love to have a season ticket but am resigned to the fact that it'll never happen. I'd love to watch us week in week out at anfield, and would happily trade 1 final a year or whatever a year to watch us each week in the league.Originally posted by alunevans View Postcheers morph. i see where you're coming from but we'll have to agree to disagree on that one. if i'd pulled a fast one then deferring it to the agm would be a good tactic for me. i know from past experience that people only get answers to their anger if they push while they're angry.
if the club had no option to do it this way then they can at least explain to us why the numbers are there. it'd make us feel like we matter at least. if it's fair do's then we'll accept it i'm sure.
i also want to find out how it will be in future years.
i'd gladly trade matches in the rain against watford, charlton, wigan, bolton and middlesboro and the likes for this one in athens, especially if i get to see them ****e games in the local pub anyhow.
so if thats what it will take to be present during the key moments of my clubs history, then thats what i'll do.
I think this is basically the root of the difference of opinion we have, the difference between the haves and the have nots, you have 19 games a season guaranteed and a even special priorities in all the cups, because you are one of the lucky ones with a season ticket, I basically have **** all to try and watch us and have to work at trying to gets tickets for any match i go toLast edited by Morph; 12-05-07, 10:55 AM.Thomas Hicks Senior

its not the core disagreement mate. i don't believe i should have any more right to be in athens than someone cos i'm a season ticket holder. i believe i have more right than the corporate ******s who are now selling tickets for over a grand on the internet.Originally posted by Morphorino View PostNow ya see that's where i'm going to have to disagree, i'd love to have a season ticket but am resigned to the fact that it'll never happen. if i was missing out to someone who had a fancard and a **** load of games and was a genuine fan i wouldn't be so miffed.
but thats just not the case.
the corporates got an automatic on six credits so why should they also cream off the dregs as well?

So what if they've not done it before???Originally posted by Morphorino View PostBut if it's not something we've ever done before then why do it now on this occasion, it won't achieve diddly squat at the end of the day.
Women never used to have the vote before, so what? Now they do.
It will stop the fans feeling like they've been lied to and ripped off. That ok with you???

I have to say I think it's bad that LFC hasn't been more transparent with the amount of tickets in the ballot.Originally posted by Morphorino View Postit's ridiculous really, i mean lets assume for a minute that when this new ground gets sorted they make say 40k for season ticket holders, so then how do you please 40,000 fans who will all be going to the home games and no doubt signing up for this auto cup ****, when only 17,000 tickets are available. Will you have tossers writing into the echo saying i've had my season ticket for 20 years so i;m more entitled than this fella who's only had his for 9 months, grow up ffs.
All thats happening at the moment is the typical conspiracy theorys going on because ppl are fecked off at only getting 17k tickets from uefa and they know they can do **** all about it with uefa so lets have a pop at parry because he's here and we can do that, based on the evidence of **** all at the moment.
But I don't think Parry should be hung out to dry every time someone is unhappy with certain decisions, we knew at the start of the season what the fancard system was there for and that if we attended more games we had more chance of a ticket.
I also think that UEFA should allocate any tickets relating to players and sponsors directly from their stash and it's a disgrace that any tickets not taken by Milan were not given to us to pass on to our fans.
UEFA are more at fault than us.
Look at the fiasco last year re the FA Cup, the FA wouldn't help us out at all.
The club tried to fight our corner to get a reallocation of tickets but neither the Millenium Stadium people of the FA were willing to budge I feel the same has happened this year with UEFA and their allocation.
It's a joke that UEFA get so many tickets and the clubs get relatively little.
