Kewell might be a better option then a match fit Zenden.

I have to disagree. A non-match-fit anybody (no matter how talented) is ****all use to anybody.

A match-fit Zenden is useful though (I thought he did pretty well against Chelsea).

It would be suicidal to start with Kewell (though he may come on at a later stage).

I can't believe this is happening again TBH (two years on). Harry is a parasite as far as I'm concerned.

He has been injured, that does not make him a parasite.

Way to support your players, especially when they have been down on luck...best fans in the world yeah...

Sorry but just too many coincidences. People were saying this in 2005...now two years later it's happening again and people are still in denial.

Maybe "parasite" sounds harsh to you but look at his Anfield carreer and it fits perfectly.

Dont you think Rafa and the staff would spot that before you?

Harry, is the best we have on the left. Play him

Absolutely ludicrous this is. Do any of you think he's match-fit? Jesus.
we will se tomorow if he is match fit, thats what rafa will be playing him for, it has been said he looks fitter now than at any stage in his lfc carreer, if he has a positive impact against charlton and shows no ill effects, id use him as atleast a squad player in athens.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

It's not the school playground mate, it's about which players will give us the best chance of winning on the day.

Kewell is our best left winger. If he puts in a good show against Chalton then he must be included in the squad

Theres no way i could see him being ready for the CL Final on the back of a run-out or 2 in the stiffs and an hour so against Charlton, after not playing all season.
The bench is the very best he can expect IMO

I'm not a big Kewell fan, but he needs to play some part in the CL Final.

                              Either:

                              1) he plays from the start and we try and grab the game by the scruff of the neck from the off, control the game and go 1 or 2 up and try and close the game out (with him coming off 2nd half, as we close the game down)

                              or

                              2) He comes off the bench when

                              a) we are winning and we're looking to kill the game on the break as they tire.
                              or
                              b) He comes on when we're pushing forward looking to be creative to get back in the game.

Eitehr way for me he has to be included as he's still currently our most creative option on the LW.

I really, really hope Rafa isn't tempted to play Zenden there in the CL Final. Having said that I do have a sneaking suspiscion that Bolo coud be this year's Vladi.

Great. Thanks to you two resuscitating this thread I now have that bloody Herman's Hermits song in my head again.

                                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.
