Javier Mascherano: 'I want to be settled and kill myself on the pitch so the team wins lots of games'

Milan won't be happy. First we take Lucas from them and now(maybe) Pato
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He is very quick and the assistant ref isn't that slow either.

Hope this is true and we gbet him. he will take time to develop but you can see he has got the basics, such as touch and good dribbling skills. only problem is Milan are linked with him, which may be a problem (Nice weather etc.)

But seriously, if we have signed this lad and Lucas, we have signed Brazils two brightest talents. Big things ahead

Now that looks like we are putting some balance is our team.
Like a rock in defence and with truly gifted attacking players upfront.

Anyone get the feeling this is where gillet and hicks millions is going to go, spending big bucks on younger players and maybe not necessarily massive buys for the first team

Not me. I think it will be a balance between youth and experience. I can still see Eto´o coming.

I've only seen him play a couple of times and he looks like a superb prospect. But does he have a European passport? Because if he doesn't, wouldn't it be difficult to get clearance for him to play in the premiership?

You'd have to assume they've given all this due consideration and, if we are in fact in for him, there'll be no work permit issues otherwise we'd be wasting our time.

Read and heard lots of good things about this lad - never actually seen him play, but that won't stop me from being pretty excited.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

looks like we are doing an "Arsenal" and buying youth...hope its not instead of 1st team purchases though.

Presumably if Rafa pays 18 million euros for a player it means he'll immediately be pushing for a 1st team place.
