The question is simple.
If Kewell got a bit of form back and stayed injury free, if Speedy turns up this season and produces some of the play he did in Spain last season and if Pennant keeps up the good work (actually, with all these "ifs", the question is not so "simple", is it?), would be be better off spending the bulk of our transfer kitty on 2 top class strikers, rather than 1 top class striker and one top class wide man?
IE: If we got a bit of form out of our current crop of 'wide' players, would be be better off bringing in an Owen and Torres rather than an Alves and Torres?
