Don't get me wrong I love the guy, but c'mon lets cut out all the "Momo is boss" nonsense, he's never going to have the technical ability required to perform at the highest level.
As we know he's useful against teams who dominate possession. But it begs the question; what eventual use will he be to us if we're a team who should be aiming to dominate possession in most games?
And we now have Mascherano who does the same job only with better passing skills, vision and footballing intelligence.
Selling him and players like him is the way forward.

First decent offer he should go.

If you think him and Mascherano play similar roles, then you are just proving that your opinion is not worth much.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
I'm not willing to sell Sissoko down the River yet, he gives us extra energy and some pace in the midfield without him we can be rather flat. He is a young player and I'd hate to see him leave then get himself sorted out and become a Gatusso elsewhere. I can't see him leaving this season, if Lucas develops well this season then maybe at the end of next season he could be gone but for the moment I reckon his safe.
Momo is a box to box midfielder. The same position that Lucas plays in.
Mascherano is a holding midfielder.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
