I like Momo a lot, he has this boundless energy to run and run, and there's no better ball-winning midfielder around if you ask me. The problem is though that is all he does (albeit brilliantly) and someone like Mascherano has just taken it that up that further level by being someone who can win the ball, and use and distribute it (Sunday aside). While we've got Mascha I see no role for Momo in the side, of course the question is how much longer will we have Mascha and how much will it cost us to keep him?

I'd be sorry to see him go, but at £15m we would def have to bite Juve's hands off (200% profit in 2 years) and that money could go a long way to making the Mascha deal permanent.

If he is still having problems with his vision, as has been reported, and this is a long term problem, then I think we have no alternative really but to look at moving him on.

Shame as he has a lot of potential, just if he could use the ball better and had a bit better judgment when in possesion, he could easily be as good as Vieira was.

i can see that for 15 mill some would want to let him go i just think we'll regret it in the future, i think he's going to be immense. just few weeks ago when momo was on form he was one of the more popular players on this site. his form hasn't been all that great lately and masher has stepped up and suddenly people forget Momo. if momo had played the last few games and had been on form people on here wouldn't dream of selling him...

i'm not saying he's the greatest, but he's dramatically improved since he got here and can only become better, his eye sight is not bothering him, he said so him self, even though it's not back to 100% its not far off, only time it cause problems was against the scum when he miss kicked the ball. i say give him at least another season. if he hasn't gotten better where he needs to improve i'd agree to cash in on him, but not after only two seasons. he's going to have a long successful carear ahead i just hope it's with liverpool...

Fine player that will only improve and he's still young. Hasnt had the best season but his worth to the team is immense.

Only thing that disappoints me is his passing its brutal and has to work on it, If he does then he could be even better then Viera at his prime and one of the best all round Def midfielders

£15 million for Sissoko - £10 million for Bellamy and thats the new striker paid for by selling 2 squad players.

I like Momo but since Mascherano arrived he is down the pecking order and especially now the Brazil kid has been signed he is at best 4th choice.

i don't think it's like that, i think if he's with us next season him and masher will play a similar amount of games and the new kid will not be picked ahead of him...

Dont think Rafa would sell. Momo was one our best players last season, had two very serious injuries, and is still v young

Of course, technique wise, he is shown up by the likes of Masher and Mikel (Chelsea) but whatever role he plays - AMC/CM or DM - he always gives 110% (I think thats important) and under the guideness of Rafa, will improve

Alonso has been more suspect in many ways this year. A classer passer and player, but he isnt dominating enough, especially in the EPL, and not chipping in with enough goals

We cant depend on Lucas, a young, unproven player straight away, plus with Zenden likely to be gone, that leaves us 5 for the centre two postions, with SG cover for RM/AMC

Plus Momo may be on ANC duty next Jan - March (not sure how Mali is doing)
                        We need better attacking players!

                        Torres aint enough

                        Rafas number #1 fan

technique can be taught, energy and enthusiasm cant. Id keep him for sure, money probably isnt an issue for now so what possible benefit do we have? The brazilian kid will in all probability take time to adapt and then it takes a nasty knock or 2 and we are ****ed, zenden anyone? bollocks to that, keep momo!!!
