    Obv.

But in Spain he won't be tested in the air anywhere near as much as he would be over here.

I've only seen him play maybe 10 times max, but I've never been thoroughly impressed by him.

On the evidence we've seen thus far you'd have to say that Tim Vickery was right in saying that it was far too early for him to move to Europe. He's incredibly raw and desperately needs games.

Next season, we need to either loan him out to a decent club where he's going to get regular football or do the right thing and sell him. He's never going to get any better rotting away in the stands, playing the odd Carling Cup game and he sure as hell doesn't look good enough to be backup for us right now.
that's what i noticed about paletta when i saw him play for banfield a couple times. he was so naive positionally, and CB is all about positioning and reading the game. that will come with age, coaching, and experience hopefully, but he seems so far behind at this point he will never be given the chance to catch up at a club like Liverpool. another sign that worried me was his tendency to stab and dive in, and he couldn't time a tackle to save his life. he just doesn't seem to be a natural footballer. a good athlete, physically imposing, but he has no sophistication to his game and it seems he is lacking a football brain. i remember watching figeuroa beat him in the air for a goal in the box because paletta was ball watching and lost track of him

i said it on KT at the time, i thought he was at least 3 seasons away from making any impact on our squad

as far as milito goes, i think this just another link from the past, they always resurface this time of year

        Is it just me?

How tall is he? He looks about 5'9.

Carra is no giant in size but makes up in skill, passion and determination

**** i knew that word didnt read right

He's a good player from what i saw.

If we do sign him, does it mean that Rafa just tells Agger that sit tight for another couple of sesons???

Cant see Milito been brought in to sit on the bench.....or is it that Rafa wants to play 3 at the back??
