I think there are people who genuinely collect the tickets for keep sake. However that ticket is heavily overpriced. I know that seller and he made a good £40 profit on that one. If you have one to hand in good nick then it is a good way to recoup costs for Athens.

Alot of people are profit making (ie picked them up ages ago and selling on now) as many fans are looking to get the full run either again to sell on, display etc.

There is a massive market out there.

Oh and if we win in Athens the Liverpool Bordeaux away is the ticket to sell on. Plenty monies in that one.

Well if you need to recoup and you want to sell I'm happy to do it for you. I don't want any money for it.

The first went for £14. The average price was £8. It was the equivalent of picking up a bundle of tenners off the floors.
They are still selling these - and people are still buying too.

I noticed this a few weeks ago while potter on ebay. It's mad isnt it! I wish I'd kept all the tickets and got the programmes to go with them. It would have almost paid for all my tickets
I know I'll often stop and think about them, In My Life, I love you more - 96

I've kept some and lost loads. I wish I'd made a proper effort to keep more. I've got a load pinned up on the "noticeboard" in the kitchen, but I'd never consider selling them.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
