i thought it was odd that we did a deal before the final in 2005. if we win they get a bargain.
if we don't we're still Liverpool Football Club.
does anyone know why this is a good business decision for us at this point?
honest question. just seems odd to me, but what do i know. someone enlighten me. proper business answer as opposed to automaton defence of the decisions of the higher ups please.
It would be very difficult to do a deal after the final. Adidas must know what the shirts will look like in time for next season.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
If Gillet/Hicks think the deal is that bad, they might buy their way out of it....
I think that they will let it run till the new Stadiums built and then, we'll see a mother of all mothers package that includes the new Stadium AND Kit deal, that blows the package the chavs, scum etc, have right now, right out the water
don't see this as being a huge issue, it's a stop gap until we get our new stadium, as AFII said I can't imagine too many companies being interested in 3yr sponsorship, also our home shirt was for two seasons, so that would have caused some problems. The yanks will sort us out a huge deal in a few yrs time, so the extra cash we may have made will not be too important by this point
