I fully expect to read a thread full of opinions based on non-factual evidence procured from playing Football Manager hours on end.

I'm starting to feel like one of those superfan tossers they have on Rawk, who jump down the throat of any fan who dare discusses any Liverpool related rumours.

I'm just going to let the manager get on with it. He knows what he is doing, and he's a winner.

I'm not that sure about that. Tevez dominated every game the last two months.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Torres is top quality. Cisse was a headless chicken wheras Torres always has control of the ball and will create loads from working the flanks as well as bag a lot of goals by creating chances for himself and finishing chances made by others.

I was delighted to hear last week that if we stump up 27mil, there's nothing Atletico can do if Torres wants to come.

He is the one striker that would turn our fortunes the most IMO.
i watched him against barca the other night - admittedly isolated but he didnt look like he could control a chicken sandwich. I did not see 27 million. but thats just my opinion. on the other hand eto looked like he had the lot. If we cant get the best we shouldnt be playing 20 odd million for anyone that isnt proven.

bit of a risk i think.

We MUST do everything to sign Tevez.

he is the missing piece of the puzzle IMO.

Eto'o would be lovely....but i fear he would struggle with the **** chances we create. We need better delivery from wide areas, and a creative central palyer.

thats the impression i always get looking at torres but his goals per game ratio is decent, but for some reason im not convinced.
eto`o all the way for me.

He was voted the best player in South America three years in a row. The first time when he was 18 years old.

He has had 3 and a 1/4 cracking seasons mate.

its just 3 of them weren't in the Prem. He is a star, and we have to sign him.

He's there for the taking, and we must sign him...no matter the cost.
