I can't be bothered with a long post at this moment but to sum up:

We don't have one and it showed tonight. So while people may be calling for a "finisher", we actually need an all rounder. I really don't think Kuyt is up to the job. Torres is most definitely the man.

Kaka was ****e tonight but he still came up with that one moment of brilliance with that pass for the second goal. Kuyt and our other strikers can't do that.

Torres has a buy-out of 27mil. Owen has a buy-out of 9mil. These 2 are the 2 we should be going for. We also need a flamboyant winger, and we miss Garcia. Zenden has most definitely played his last game and Crouch is the most important striker currently in our squad - by a mile.

Bottom line - we need more flair.

agreed on nearly all points...how crouch didnt start ill never know, bet hes pissed off too.
Still in rafa i trust and i imagine a lot of comings and goings will occur this summer.

Forgot about him. He is good but is he that good? I think it's quite possible he'll end up joining Masher(what a player masher is btw)at Anfield. i'd rather Owen back though and Torres coming in in the 'creative striker' role.

Torres is top quality. Cisse was a headless chicken wheras Torres always has control of the ball and will create loads from working the flanks as well as bag a lot of goals by creating chances for himself and finishing chances made by others.

I was delighted to hear last week that if we stump up 27mil, there's nothing Atletico can do if Torres wants to come.

He is the one striker that would turn our fortunes the most IMO.

No to torres - over priced. Eto isnt overpriced at 30 million. We will never get him though. Crouch - keep him. Kuyt not sure. bellamy see you later. Zenden - he may not be good enough - but hes a top man, the glue in the squad and his website is piss funny, keep him as a coach.

again totally agree with you, if you buy a striker for ****s sake let him play as a striker!
I want my striker to sit on the shoulder of the last man, hassle the defence for 95 mins, not be an extra midfielder!!
