Actually I think Niall mentioned Tevez back on the CrapTalk forums a couple of years ago.

Probably one of hundreds who did. He was voted the best player in South America 2 years running or something.

I think his recent exploits has gotten peoples attention. Berbatov was the flavour of the month, then it was Tevez. If Eto'o or Torres score a hatrick this weekend it'll be their turn next.

I suspect Rafa already knows who he wants. So the speculation is pointless really.

He is better then Kuyt but rafa doesnt seem to think so. Kuyt's a worker put nothing else

But Kuyt only looks crap because Rafa is playing him as an attacking midfielder, between the lines if you will. This is most definitely not his best position and is not where he played for Feyernood. I'm sure Kuyt will do much better next year being played up top in front of someone really creative like Luis/Deco

Villa and Tevez for me; and, I think it is not impossible. If Henry wanted in, I wouldn't look the other way. Noise from the Eto'o camp makes me think he's going nowhere. Torres is overpriced and I was a big supporter of that move; but now, and I haven't seen him much this year, he seems off the boil (standed on a bad team). Interesting that no one is talking about ANYONE in the Italian league or the Bundesliga... is there no one we'd buy there?
