    Javier Mascherano

    Played well.

    Kept Kaka out of it.

    On the Ning Nang Nong
    Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
    There's a Nong Nang Ning
    Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
    On the Nong Ning Nang
    All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
    So it's Ning Nang Nong!
    Cows go Bong!
    Nong Nang Ning!
    Trees go Ping!
    Nong Ning Nang!
    The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!

Excellent, I thought he should have stayed on instead of Xabi.

What a player, should never of been taken off, i couldnt believe it. Xabi played very poor and how he didnt get booked i will never know.

Anyways the Mash is a great signing

Played his socks off tonight. All we need to do now is sign him on pernament basis.

He really did play well, made one glorious tackle towards the end of the game. I thought generally he and Alonso worked well as a partnership, though Xabi's radar was off on a few key passes he had to make at pace.

thing is though him and Xabi can't play in the same central midfield. One of them has to go.

Rafa took the wrong man off, should have been Xabi.
What have I learned, Mr Mackay? Three things. One - bide your time. Two - keep your nose clean. And three - don't let the *******s grind you down

Crouch should of been on earlier and even the start.

He caused them problem no end when he came on, a bit conservative by Rafa

I thought Alonso might have been kept on cause Masher was on a booking.

I think he was taken off for a number of reasons, Alonso's passing range, and his yellow card, we had reached a stage of the game where we needed to gamble.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                        * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

Two years ago i'd have been aghast at the prospect of selling Xabi but IF we sign Masher then i think Xabi should be shown the door.

Steve and Masher in our central midfiled would be boss.
