No. My friend told me that. He gives me some info sometimes. He is a german journo who works at Kicker(german sportspaper).
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Probably because we couldn't afford big signings. A quote from Rafa today..........

"I have been told by the new owners that they will back my plans," he said. "But when you look at the champions Manchester United spending £20million on a midfield player, and we have been paying just £8 to £9m for our strikers, you know what must be done.

"We must spend big and spend now. Our fans know what we need to do and so do I. We need to pay the price needed for each position."

Anyone from Spain is going to have to wait as their bloody League doesnt end till mid June and a week after that for Sevilla as they have the Cup, Englands done, Germany done, Portugal done, Italy has 1 game, same with France. So hopefully Bascombe starts dropping hints over the next few days. Theres no doubt Rafa wants some top quality in.

Garcia has IMHO been played out of position most of his time with us.
He not good enough defensively to play on the wing and should only be played as a second striker.

At last it looks like the summer will not disappoint.

Give me Puerta and a right winger anyday of the week and I'll be very happy.

Pennant has proved he isn't ****e, but he has also proved he isn't good enough to be a first choice player at Liverpool. He doesn't cross well enough nor does he score enough nor beat enough defenders. Good, but not good enough.

For the left I am liking the look of Leto because of his strength and such but it could be a little difficult for him to settle here. I don't like Kewell but there's no doubt if he stays fit he can give us a quality season. The reason why I want Puerta so much is because I think his perfect for us. Stays nice and wide will maintain width, not much cutting in, delivers a great ball, works his socks off, can shoot a little, good dribbler, can beat a man and is strong defensivly. A pretty complete player who has loads to offer now and in the future.

It's a shame about Mark because he played great at Sociedad, I think the club and the stage were just too big for him. I expect him to be pretty good at Betis if he goes there. Not as good as he was at Sociedad but at a smaller club I expect him to have more confidence while shooting/running past defenders and maybe he'll fulfill his potential there and maybe get a shot at a bigger club again later in his career (not here) I wish the best to him.

Yet again he showed he has the positional sense of a cauliflower

he gave the ball away 90% of the time last night too.

mate, from Rafa's quotes this morning, I think he wants the marquee signings, no more 2/3/4th choice players, it's all or nothing this summer.

I don't understand why Puerta would be your first choice. I'd have him as a squad player, sure, but as a first choice player? Nah.

                                WE NEED MATCHWINNERS!!!
