So he scored 7 in 10 (haven't checked figures). He also went nealy 30 games without a goal.
He took time to settle... Shock horror.

All in a struggling team... apply that logic to masher and look how he turned out.

What about Kuyt's settling in period?

Some players take longer, that's just the way it is.

          Especially those from SA.

Tevez would be our Zola, i'm sure of it. Would be a cracking signing.

          Who'd you prefer?

            A goalscorer, not a Zola.

            Someone in the Eto'o/Henry mould.

Kuyt was in a new league too and Kuyt probably started fewer games.

Is that point worth anything to you?
Why are you so confrontational? Is it because I disagree with you?
You need to cool your jets buddy.
So your saying Kuyt is better then Tevez?

Kuyt was playing in a far better team, not played out of position, did not carry a crap team on his shoulders from relegation. I could go on and on.

Fact is Tevez is by far a more talented player then Kuyt, and according to most one of the most talented young players in the world today. He has shown that he can find the back of the net on a regular basis, ( like any striker he needs the right conditions ) and that he has adapted to the Prem.

So again, saying that he wont score more then 15 goals a season for us is IMHO based on nothing.

              And sorry for being confrontational.

yeah playing on the wing.:whatever: Once Curbs started playing him as a striker he banged them in.

He has always scored goals. Look at his record.

Dont even try arguing this BTW.....you were so wrong about Mascherano its not even funny.

We lack creativity more than strikers goals. Our strikers arn't bad....its the lack of clear cut chances thats the problem.

A Zola/Tevez type player is exactly what we need

One of those and Tevez will be ideal.

I haven't seen Tevez play live in the flesh so I'm sorry I can't comment. However I have seen Eto'o. Yes please.

Sorry, I disagree with that. We need goalscorers.

striker with pace rather than a tevez type for me. tevez would doagreat job but not sure who he would do best with up front.
