Obviously Rafa wont say that our Top priority is a Striker. That will just strengthen the hand of the selling clubs.

There were a couple of occasions when Gerrard was free and unmarked about 5-10 yards away from Pennant and he either didnt spot them or fired the ball at Gerrard like an exocet

Unfortunately we don't play in La Liga. Things are different in the Premiership, as Rafa has found.

Look at Man United this season though - their forwards did no more than our in terms of goalscoring. What we need to succed in the PL is mor different threats on goal - i.e. more quality attacking midfielders IMO. Ronaldos goals were keye to united this year and Duff/Robbens have been key to Chelsea in previous seasons.
