Funny you should mention that song Will mate,me and my brother were just talking about it last night.

    I hate it already!

Probably due to us getting off at the wrong metro stop and walking for a half an hour behind 3 drunk lads who sang it over and over, just the one verse and sung badly!

                  You and me both mate.

I was so depressed after the final, until being in Monastiraki that night and being a part of that atmosphere. It's why I wore my Liverpool shirt with pride every day for the rest of the time I was in Athens, and why I went to bed that night dreaming of the good times that lie ahead rather than thinking back to what we lost the night before.

I previously said on here that we could learn a lot from fans of other clubs and countries about how we could support our team. I was wrong. There is nothing we can learn from anyone else about how to support our team. Everyone else should look at us and see what pride, passion and love for your club really means.

If any Liverpool players, staff or management see these vids posted on this thread, or could see the way those songs were sung that night, they would forget Wednesday's disappointment and instead be humbled, inspired and determined to bring home #19 and #6 next season.

                    Excellent post, mate.
I was down, as was many of us, but we all restored our belief by singing together for hours.
And we also made a point of being gracious to the Milan fans, congratulating them and singing campione to them as well, shaking hands etc. That's LFC.

Some great posts there Dhavlos - I agree with your point about getting on our high horses regarding adopting a widely used melody to make our own song. How many teams use the melody from Yellow Submarine/Team of Carraghers? Hey Baby/The John Arne Riise Song? Does anyone care?

It's very different to doing what the Mancs have done to We Won it Five Times - i.e. using another team's song to have a go at them.
