    my gut feeling baz, its a smokescreen from the owners playing the pr game and wily benitez is calling them on it. im old school mate and believed in the old principals until parry treated the bread and butter of this club like ****. open transparacy is the only way forward. we do our job week in and week out supporting the team, now its time for the administration to get of theyre arses and do their jobs. as the great one says, no more lamp shades, only couches

          I totally agree mate. Couldnt have it better myself. Just dont agree in the manner which Rafa made his intentions known. I know It may seem odd I am saying this, but this is the scond time sice the yanks took ovver he has done this. If they were dragging their feet, he should confront them privately.

            Could be possible mate, I doubt it however, not recently anyway. He did once before, but I dont think anyone is beyond criticism, not even Rafa.

              personally, I think things will always take longer to manage when there is two owners. meeting have to be in place etc. by that time one person in another club could have made a decision, things move so quick in European football. I just hope the ynaks, get things sorted soon for all of our sakes.

                Gillettes sons were amongst the fans in Athens.I`m sure they put them right on Parry`s ineptitude.The yanks must have heard the Rumours,maybe Rafa has filled them in aswell.

                      Rafa is probably pissed off that he has to spend twice as much on Danel Alves this summer for the sake of perhaps 1 million extra last summer. We only get glimpses of possible deals (unless your in the gold club) ,so there could be lots more instances. *** I was joking about the gold club ***

                        Rafa is a Machiavellian. He see's an opportunity to get more control and power by undermining RP. After all, RP will have little influence once Foster is in place. So Rafa is forcing G&T to play their hand early so that he can align early with Foster someone who doesn't have the baggage and resistance to new ideas.

                        Don't be a romantic and think it is otherwise.

                        Bottom line. Dont **** w/Rafa or he will **** you over

                              What is there to worry about? RP is crap we all know that. Rafa has found a way to bypass him to get stuff done. He's clearly set expectations with G&T about how and how quickly they need to operate in this new space.

                              All seems positive to me.
