As a friend of Rafa though, Balague wil never say openly on air that we are chasin someone and have made him our number one target, Rafa would go mad if he told Balague something and then Balague went and told the world.
Nothing really new there.
What I have gathered though, and I remember from some time back is that Ronie will only join Milan if Barca can et someone to replace him. ie Kaka. Ronnie could be th bargaining tool that Barca have over Kaka, where as MAdrid have no player of that calibre to offer in exchange.
If Ronnie goes, I cant see Eto'o leaving Barca.
I remain convinced that Tevez is our top target in the striking department. Well maybe between Tvez and Eto'o with Eto'o proving maybe a little to soctly for our tea building, Good news that Real are not interested in Tevez though. Mascherano and the Spanish speaking contingent at Liverpool remain a strong bargaining tool for us over United.

I did think that about him keeping stuff to himself- & hopefully he is hiding the fact that we do have "millions & millions." However, if he flatly denies that someone will sign for us- such as Alves- & then it does happen, he loses he credibility. Hence I will take that at face value.

I actually believe him when he says Alves will not be an option. I think he will eventualy end up at Madrid or Barca though.
I cant undertand the Sevilla manager wanting to go to Man City though I know he wants to manage in England but Man City?.

When it is pu like that, it does sound more appealing.
It could also be said of their dismal league performanes in the league for a long long time.
I would have thought that, if say Rafa had resigned, that he is a manager that would have been considered strongly, given that Sevilla are a much smaller club that what Valencia are.
