lol I just like the shorts same colour as the shirts and socks Paul, I may have over elaborated just a touch lol. But I like shanks idea of the all red kit, and in this case, all white or black etc.Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.
* After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

White shirts/black shorts/red socks - that's the one.
I want the goalkeeper to wear the same colour shorts and socks as the rest of the team.
Also, I want a team called Royal Engineers to make it through to the latter stages of the FA Cup.
It all reminds me of my younger days..
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

yep you're spot on....I worked at Coke for a couple of years, and this is their policy at the moment.Originally posted by Neil Young View PostI think Coca Cola's strategy is not tie themselves to particular clubs, at least in Europe (I've got a feeling I've seen their name on a Brazilian or Argentinian club shirt). They seem to prefer to ally themselves to the sport as a whole, particularly adopting the fans' perspective ("live football, eat football," etc.). That may change but it's served them pretty well so far and there is a real downside in allying yourself with particular clubs for global brands that aim to be inclusive in their targeting.
In other words, it may not be feasible to pursue Coca Cola. I'm sure however that the Americans will be very clued up on the potential value of shirt sponsorship deals and will get rid of Carlsberg if it makes financial sense.
They are keen on supporting football generally, rather than allying themselves to a particular club (in Europe at least). Hence we have things like the Coca Cola Championship and Powerade being an official sponsor of the football world cup.
so, unless their policy changes, we won't be able to get them on our shirt!

It's reassuring to know I can still spot a strategy every now and then.

Like the shirt, understand about the green logo
A lot of people boycott Coca-Cola because of claims about their behaviour in South America with their work force.
It wouldn't stop me buying an LFC kit, but I hope we don't go down that route

Love the new away kit.
Planning on ordering one, Mascherano, 20.
On the Ning Nang Nong
Where the Cows go Bong!
And the Monkeys all say Boo!
There's a Nong Nang Ning
Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots Jibber Jabber Joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang
All the mice go Clang!
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So it's Ning Nang Nong!
Cows go Bong!
Nong Nang Ning!
Trees go Ping!
Nong Ning Nang!
The mice go clang!
What a noisy place to belong,
Is the Ning Nang Ning Nang Nong!!
