Let's have some perspective please, after ranting all week about top class players to challenge Chelsea, are we signing the righty players to do so? We would normally be in for the likes of Malouda even when Moores was here. It's strange but then it makes sense as Malouda is a grafter.

It doesn't make sense, this summer will make or break us.. signing a French player of the year ala Cheyrou sh*ts me up no end.

Voronin - Free signed before the takeover wont command very high wages, direct replacement for Fowler and a bit better at this time I would say, probably wont play a great deal

Malouda - Can't say i'm a french footy fan but he just got player of the season, in albeit a bit of a crap league i'll be prepare to see how hw plays before i go slaggin him off

When Voronin signed we had already had DIC on board and the Gillette thing was gong on, I'd rather have given a youngster a chance (you know the ones who hav won the youth cup 2 years in a row). As for Malouda - I have seen him his whole career, he is a grafter, maybe a rating higher than Riise, Kewell is better. What a feeble signing.

Have to agree with you mate. Malouda won't really get us any closer to the top 2. He aint better than what we have already, i would rather just stick with kewell and riise.

regarding vronin, i dont expect him to be in the first team very often and he was free.cant gooo wrong really?

Have to see what happens though. Hopefully we will sign a tevez or eto which would change alot.

None of that was tied up or finalised, and just goes to show doesn't it we didn't end up with DIC so things can change very quickly

Yes I know. But I have heard the Malouda thing from Bascombe today so it just about confirms it, added to Voronin, I'd question whether Rafa is very good at spotting attacking talent or is he just obsessed with grafters?

Rash, if Rafa signs only Malouda and Voronin this summer then we're fooked. But he's clearly going to bring in some serious players so why don't we wait till the opening day of the season before determining whether United will be quaking in their boots or not?
