Gillette and Hicks know they will lose the confidence of teh fans if Rafa is 'forced' out. Surely it is only a matter of time before we start signing some of Rafas No.1 targets.
Patience people - if it was the middle of July I could understand, hey I would be just as pissed. But its only the start of June! Relax a little."Its not about the long ball or the short ball, its about the right ball." Bob Paisley

The winner!Originally posted by IrishPaul View PostYep, certainly seems that way Archibald me auld mate, although it's reported in the Echo today that LFC were hoping to get SG and JC to sign before England left for Estonia
My post was just a possible explanation for the club to have a PC today
Rather than to announce 'Rafa Resigning' which is what the drama queens were waiting for :whatever:

So they should just go an buy to prove they mean business? There is so much speculation - most of our targets are in Spain who's season hasn't finished, the manager is on his holidays and it's only the 4th June. Let's judge everyone at the end of the window.Originally posted by Tom View PostOne of the things that the new owners had to proves was that they could spend a huge chunk of money (30/40 mill) on transfers immediately wasn't it?

What the feck is going on?? I thought Rafa was resigning today?Originally posted by skowser View PostJust heard from a mate (who works for Sky), who was told by a mate of his, who works at 5live, that Rafa will resign on Monday...I don't know how reliable this is, just passing it on. I hope it's not true...
Skowser, not having a dig at you but your mate's mate is a f*cking clown.

It's all been pure bull crap from the beginning. The hysteria on the forums has been staggering. I say this to all the rumour mongers.. :bird:Originally posted by Snigger View PostIt's all ****e - Benitez is on holiday and most of our targets are still finishing their respective seasons at their clubs.
From now on, if Rafa has a real problem with the owners he needs to approach them in private. I don't see any point whatsoever in going to the papers.
