Without wanting to make this sound too simplistic, the home form is almost perfect, wins v the mancs and the blue ****e when we didn't deserve to draw or lose gives us an extra 5 points. All we need to do is transfer that to the away games, and if Rafa gets the players he wants I see no reason we can't do that, we don't dont suddenly become a different team when we go away from home (well not physically, although the rest could be debated), we just need to to play slightly different tactics and we didn't have the players for that last season, this season I think we willThomas Hicks Senior

Ye reckon? Arsenal were rubbish/(henry and van pierse)less most for a good chunk of the season. Under GH we could beat the big teams but dropped silly points. We're still dropping silly points away but now loosing ground to the top teams. Yeah its the total that counts, but no point helping the competition.Originally posted by DannyMan2006 View PostIn games between the top 4 last year Arsenal came top. Arsenal finished 4th.
So your theory does not run true. At the end of the day we need about 90 points and makes sod all difference who you get them off. On the otherhand if it's tight at the top they're the games you would want to win as they're classed as 6 pointers, but it's the end total that counts.*************************

I think that the points of the winners next year may well be one of the lowest it's ever been due to the strength of the premiership, which comes down to foreign investment. Teams such as Villa, Portsmouth and West Ham will be very hard teams to beat, especially away from home.Javier Mascherano: 'I want to be settled and kill myself on the pitch so the team wins lots of games'

I think our home form and clean sheets records will be a massive boost to us in those tight matches.Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.
