I think we've got money, otherwise Rafa wouldn't have cheered up in his interviews last week following the phone conference. I also think that nearly all of our first choice targets are in Spain though, so we won't hear anything but rumours for a fortnight (even if we are negotiating at the moment). Except Malouda, but that negotation will take ages, remember how long it took Chelsea to prise Essien away even with their money...

I think we are playing the poor mouth IMO, we have money i dont believe Moores sold the club to people who have less money to spend on the team then him, isnt that the reason why he sold the Club........so that new owners would pump more money into the club to compete with the likes of Manure and Chelsk

I think we have have money to spend, just not as much as some people would like. There's no doubt that Rafa will improve the squad but I doubt it'll be with players that have £30,000,000 price tags attatched to them.

I dont see why G & H would come out in the press and say they will back Rafa big time, and now reports say they havent got the money, surely they wouldnt of done this if they had no money.

It would just make them look like fools and not in the best light with the fans

My personal oinion is that we have nowhere near the amount of money to spend thats being quoted.
I believe that Rafa will get something but will have to sell to buy to a large degree.
All talk of signing Etoo should be dismissed for the sake of our sanity.

If we did have lots to spend the club would be committing financial suicide to confirm it in the public domain, transfer fees would go through the roof as if they arent bad enough already.
