What i mean is, Rafa got rid of a LOT of players and obviously needed to replace them. He spent a lot of money replacing them, but are the replacements THAT much better than the originals, so as to justify how much it cost to get them?

I think the answer to that is a resounding yes, seriously you must be able to see the difference between Diao, Cheyrou et al and Mascherano Sissoko Alonso etc
